The Laguna Niguel Senior Tournament sponsored by the city of Laguna Niguel was attended by 24 bocce players. Medals were awarded to the first 3 teams.
32 members of the Laguna Niguel Bocce Club attended our annual Christmas lunch at Fratello’s Restaurant in Laguna Niguel. Bobbie the owner once again served us an Italian feast that was enjoyed by all. It included a Ceasar Salad, Pene Past with a pink sauce, sausage and pepper and Spumoni ice cream for dessert. Red and white wine were provided by the club.
Many thanks to Santiana, Pietro’s wife for holiday treat of Tiramusu and espresso coffee. It was delicious and everyone appreciated it.
The city of Laguna Niguel has chosen Saturday, December 15, 2018, for the Senior Games Bocce Tournament. Laguna Niguel residents are free and players not residents of the city are charged a $10 fee. If you have already paid the $10 for the March tournament, there is no additional fee. Medals and snacks will be supplied by the city. The play will start at 8:30 am.

The Laguna Niguel Bocce Club will be hosting its annual Christmas Lunch Friday, December 14 at noon at Fratello’s Restaurant in Laguna Niguel. All members of the club and their family and friends are invited. Cost per person is $25 and includes lunch and gratuity. Wine will be supplied by the club. Please see Jack or Pietro to pay.

Laguna Niguel’s Bocce Club was well represented by Amiamo Bocce Team at the recent San Pedro Regional Bocce Tournament. Sixteen of Southern Californias finest bocce players competed for prize money and bragging rites September 23, 2018. Shirly, Pinky Susan, and Linda are members of the team. All the members of Laguna Niguel Bocce Ball Club congratulate their success.

Quatro Amici a Laguna Niguel Bocce Club team won the 8th annual open bocce ball tournament. 16 top teams from Southern California played in the double-elimination tournament on June 24. Over 100 watched many of the best bocce ball players in California battle it out for the trophy and prize money. Prize money and medals were awarded to the first 3 teams. Congratulations to players and to the winners. It was a fun day with lots of great bocce ball.

Congratulations to the Andiamo Bocce team representing the Laguna Niguel Bocce Club at the 4S Southern California Bocce Ball Tournament in Rancho Bernardo, California. Andiamo took third place in a field of 16 bocce ball teams from 8 bocce Southern California clubs. The team showed outstanding skill and determination in competing against a strong field of bocce ball teams loaded with talented players.
